Sales Person

The position is primarily a sales position. Like any small company, however, our people wear more than one hat. The person must be self-motivated, detailed oriented and has a proven ability to solve problems.
Job Description
Develop leads, establish rapport and close business. We work directly with consumers, but the majority of our business comes from working directly with builders, general contractors and interior designers. This person will meet with customers in their home and business, listen and consult with customers, present options that meet the customer’s style and pricing needs. This person will also be the project manager on projects they sell and will be expected to see it through from beginning to end ensuring the project stays on schedule. This position is results oriented.
Experience
Experience in the building trades and has relationships with builders, general contractors and/or interior designers. Retail experience in the building trades would be a bonus. Flooring experience would be yet another plus, but we will accept a solid sales record over flooring or retail experience.
A sense of style and the ability to work with the end-consumer will result in greater sales.
Experience in management and leadership would be a plus.
Education
High School diploma; college degree a nice plus
Travel
All travel is local in the greater Nashville area. Dependable vehicle and good driving record a must.
Compensation
Depends on experience level. Base draw plus commission. Benefits are available.
